FOTD: Current Fave Sexy Smokey Eye

If you've seen my recent post about mom's pin-up inspired makeover last Saturday, (if you haven't Click HERE), you've probably noticed I got my makeup trolley set up at home. When mom left, I had to think twice if I were gonna fix my things already or... yes, you guessed that right! I just couldn't resist   playing with them and putting makeup on myself too. Haha! (Sayang naman! Nasa harap ko na lahat o!) Plus, I had to try out how well my new Sigma brushes work. hihi!

Today's FOTD is my current go-to smokey eye makeup that I do whenever I want to feel sexy... ;)
If you want to learn what products I used on my face, read more...

I do not know why but just very recently, I'm kind of more into browns and black for my eye makeup. I  never used to like black pencils but I'm loving them now. Applying a thin or thick black liner on your lash line and blending them is an easy starter for a good smokey eyes. Then I pat on deep browns to slightly intensify the look. Apply lighter shades but with the same tone on the crease to create dimension. Make sure to blend out the edges to achieve a seamless smokey eye makeup.

Products used:

FACE

Celeteque Hydration moisturizer
20-color concealer palette
L'oreal True match liquid in N7 Nude Amber
matte loose powder in No.23 - from Korea (used under eyes, bridge of the nose, forehead and chin)
MAC Studio Fix Powder + Foundation in C4
BH Cosmetics 26 color eyeshadow/blush palette - matte brown for contour
Shawill Blusher in 02

BROWS

In2it brow cake
Etude House Color my Brows in #2
Encara BB Cream (used on my brow bone)

EYES

Urban Decay Eye shadow primer potion
In2it brow cake (lightest shade used as crease contour)
Fanny Serrano soft pencil in black (used as base for the lid, applied near the upper lash line upwards, thicker on the outer corners)
BH palette - taupe, browns and light shimmer plum
Nichido kohl pencil in black (used for the waterline and on top of the eye shadows for the upper lash line)

LASHES

Deer Eyes Volume Mascara (current favorite!)
Darkness Eyelash Adhesive in Dark
Briska false lashes in #15

LIPS

NYX slim lip pencil in Pale Pink (outer lip line)
AVON ultra luxury lip liner in Baby Pink (all over color)
NYX Xtreme matte lip cream in Candy Land (very thin layer)

Photos from my webcam:

Full natural looking lashes <3 br="br">I think the lashes give that 'extra oomph' to this look! ;)
This is why I love contouring! Pardon the pout, though! haha!
This is my current fave hairstyle. Messy high bun. Would you believe I only used 1 bobby pin to put my hair up like that? Hihi!

Oh and as for my new Sigma brushes... I love 'em!!! I'm sooo happy with my purchase. I'm super loving the brow brush and stippling brush, so far! I'll probably post my review when I've used them to create more makeup looks.

How about you? What's your current favorite eye look? Let me know how you liked this look in the comments below. Thank you all for reading!
